About the Hawaii Masons Union
A little over forty years ago, Hawaii's masons and workers in related buidling trades organized into two local unions. From the very beginning, they have worked closely together. Today, Local 1 and Local 630 represent masons, bricklayers, plasterers, cement finishers, tile installers, rock wall setters and caulkers. The unions share a home, a history, new challenges in the present and renewed hope for the future.
To train our members to the highest standards and enable them to be exemplary craftsmen and citizens for the benefit of their livelihood, the Union, the industry, and the United States and Canada.
